Sarah Biniasz, LPC-A, MS. Ed
Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Sarah Biniasz is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with over
ten years of experience in education and counseling. She began her career as a
Special Education Teacher in Texas before advancing to roles as a School Counselor
and School Administrator.
Recently, Sarah earned her second Master’s Degree in Counseling and Human Services and is set to pursue a Certificate of Advanced Study in Play Therapy at Sacred Heart University in Fall 2024.
Sarah is an active member of several professional associations, including the
Connecticut Counseling Association, American Counseling Association, and American
School Counseling Association.
Passionate about providing access to mental health services for all, Sarah has
worked with clients from diverse backgrounds. She specializes in treating Anxiety,
Depression, Trauma, Grief, Mood Disorders, School Avoidance, Social Challenges,
Self-Esteem, and Emotional Regulation. Currently, Sarah works full-time as a Clinician
at a Therapeutic Day School.
Sarah adopts a client-centered approach to therapy, utilizing a variety of
modalities to address the unique needs of her clients. She is dedicated to creating a
safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings,
develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth.
